Preparation should include
- selecting the type of sectional view (i.e., full, half, or offset) that will best illustrate the interior feature(s) of an object
- determining the scale
- centering the views
- applying a cutting plane line
- applying section lines appropriate to the object’s material
- annotating the drawing.
