Participation should include

• contributing to the planning effort for a service learning project that addresses community needs, based on research and stakeholder input
• executing assigned tasks with accountability and initiative
• analyzing outcomes to assess impact, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future efforts.

Students may participate in an existing community effort or as a team member in a senior capstone project.

• What is the objective of the service learning project?
• What are the different roles played by team members involved in the project?
• Who is responsible for monitoring and reporting outcomes?
• What measurable outcomes will indicate if the project has been successful?
