- the advantages and disadvantages of virtualization technology.
Virtualization falls into the following categories:
- Container―virtualizing the OS (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hypervisor―virtualizing the entire system, including OS (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, VirtualBox)
- Hyperscaler―allowing rapid and massive scale of virtualization (e.g., data center, cloud computing)
