• applying permanent color to regrowth
• performing a strand test for the desired results
• rinsing color from the hair with cool water
• shampooing the hair with acid-balanced shampoo
• reconditioning the hair
• removing stains from the skin
• towel drying the hair
• reexamining the scalp and hair
• cleaning and sanitizing implements and the work area.
