Commercial Photography I
The ability to apply principles of visual literacy to produce visual content gives students an advantage in today's global, multimedia society. Students will be taught industry-relevant technical skills and have the opportunity to work with a variety of technology, including digital cameras, design software, and editing tools to stage, shoot, process, print, and present professional-grade commercial images. Contextual instruction and student participation in co-curricular career and technical student organization (CTSO) activities will develop leadership, interpersonal, and career skills. High-quality work-based learning (HQWBL) will provide experiential learning opportunities related to students' career goals and/or interests, integrated with instruction, and performed in partnership with local businesses and organizations.
