Arlington moves ahead with Career Center project

Arlington County Public Schools approved its budget May 12, including a 10-year, $388.23 million capital improvement plan. Nearly 45% of the CIP funds will go toward replacement of the Arlington Career Center, the county's only career and technical education center.

Two concepts for the center have been moved to the design phase, with the largest accommodating nearly 1,800 students.
