New VVCRC Catalog Features Recent Acquisitions by Center's Lending Library

Freshly printed copies of the Center's 1996-97 library catalog greeted educators at this year's summer conferences. The list contains nearly 6,000 titles, including more than 800 books and audio-visuals added during the past year.

New in the collection are popular series such as the auto mechanics curriculum guides and auto-motive technician curriculum guides from Missouri, the new Work and Family Studies curriculum from Ohio, recently revised MarkED LAPs, program area curriculum frameworks from Tennessee, and the latest Ohio-produced OCAPs featuring task lists for selected occupations in agriculture, business, health occupations, marketing, and trade and industrial education.

Among research and development titles added this year are many addressing current issues such as standards and assessment, school restructuring, positive discipline, collaboration of academic and vocational education, work-based learning, and strategies for serving special populations.
