Technology Assessment (8406/18 weeks)
Suggested Grade Levels: 11–12 (18 weeks)
Students use their knowledge and abilities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) and other disciplines to analyze the impacts of technological devices and systems. They apply information acquired through activities and research to predict future technologies. Students use hands-on activities to innovate a product or system based on their research and forecasting skills.
18-week courses may qualify for state-board approved industry certification assessments based on a case-by-case approval from the state specialist for the program area.
