Small Animal Care II 8084

Suggested Grade Levels: 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 (36 weeks)

Students advance their skills in the care and management of small animals, focusing on the specific needs of various breeds. Instruction includes grooming and handling animals, as well as technical functions related to animal health. The course includes office-management instruction and affords students the opportunity to practice leadership skills. FFA activities are included.
