Internet Marketing 8125 (co-op not available)

Suggested Grade Levels: 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 (36 weeks)

Students receive an introduction to marketing functions and the business plan and study Internet marketing’s role in the global economy. Students gain knowledge of the tools and techniques used in Internet marketing and learn how to design a Web site. They explore ethical, legal, and security aspects and prepare for a career in Internet marketing. Academic skills (mathematics, science, English, and history/social science) related to the content are a part of this course. Computer/technology applications supporting this course are studied.
