CTE Task Lists and Frameworks Posted for 2010–2011
As of June 1, Virginia CTE teachers and administrators may obtain the state-mandated CTE task lists for 2010–2011 on the Center's Web site and through Verso. In Verso, click your program area (in left-hand menu) and then your desired course title. This takes you directly to the course task list. Once you have accessed the task list, click the task numbers to discover additional instructional framework information, when available.
The Virginia Department of Education has revised the History and Social Sciences Standards of Learning—the changes go into effect this fall—and we have correlated all CTE task lists to the new standards.
More than 360 instructional frameworks for 2010–2011 are available in Verso. Many of the frameworks from 2009–2010 were judged appropriate for continued use in 2010–2011, so only their dates have changed. Other 2010–2011 frameworks have undergone extensive revision or are new documents altogether. Additional frameworks will be announced via the Verso listserv as they are posted.
