New Presentations on Workplace Readiness Skills
In response to requests from Virginia teachers, a PowerPoint presentation titled “Workplace Readiness: Are You Really Ready for Work?” has been developed to introduce students to Virginia’s Workplace Readiness Skills and the importance of the skills to employers who hire high school graduates and other entry-level workers. The colorful presentation is intended as a stimulus for a general class discussion and suggests ways that workplace skills can be applied and practiced in school and at home.
Also newly available for download is a revised PowerPoint presentation for teachers, titled “Workplace Readiness Skills for Virginia: An Added Value to Virginia’s Career and Technical Education Programs.”
